This is CatMarina Oy’s register and privacy policy pursuant to the Personal Data Act (sections 10 and 24) and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Prepared on March 6, 2020. By using our website, you approve the processing of your data in accordance with this privacy policy.

Personal data is used for purposes specified in the Data Protection Act, such as:
- Management and maintenance of customer and contractual relationships, collaboration agreements
- Production, sales and invoicing of the product and services ordered, marketing of products and services, and development of services
- Newsletters, notices and event invitations
- Customer surveys and collection of customer information
- Fulfilment of legal obligations

Data that may be saved in the register:
- Company name and/or person’s first and last names, job title and contact information (address, e-mail, phone), generally available classification information, and information on marketing permissions and prohibitions
- IP address or other identifier

- Order, invoicing, and delivery information
- Customer feedback
- Information collected from our online service and social media channels
- Classification information provided by the data subjects or information collected with the consent of the customer

The data stored in the register is collected from the customer from sources such as messages sent via an online form, e-mails, phone calls, social media services, agreements, customer meetings, and other situations in which the customer provides information.
The information is saved in the register when the customer provides it while using our websites at www.catmarina-kiinteistot.fi and www.catmarina.fi.
7. Regular disclosure and transfer of information outside the EU and EEA
CatMarina Oy may disclose information to the extent permitted and required by the applicable laws.
For direct marketing purposes in accordance with section 19 of the Personal Data Act.
For opinion and marketing studies and other similar surveys.
To enable us to offer the best possible services, we may disclose personal data to companies, subcontractors, and collaboration partners that belong to our network, which only process the data when required for the delivery of the service.
Our partners do not use the data for other purposes or disclose it to third parties.
Data may be disclosed to parties outside the EU or EEA to enable the technical maintenance and processing of the data by our subcontractor, for example.
8. Principles of data protection
Great care is taken in data processing, and data processed with information systems is protected appropriately.
When the registers are used via internet servers, the physical and digital data security of the systems is ensured appropriately.
The data controller ensures that the stored data and access credentials to the servers and other information that is critical to the security of the personal data are treated as confidential and accessed only by the employees who require the data for the performance of their work duties.

Personal data is stored as long as the customer relationship or collaboration partnership is active.
The data in the register is inspected every three years, and data that is no longer required is deleted.

11. The right to inspect data and request its rectification
Data subjects have the right to inspect the data pertaining to them that is stored in the register and request the rectification of erroneous data and the completion of incomplete data.
If a data subject wants to inspect data or have it rectified, the request must be submitted in writing to the data controller.
The data controller may request the data subject to verify their identity.
The data controller must respond to the data subject within the time limit set in the EU’s GDPR.
We delete, rectify or complete any data that is erroneous or unnecessary in terms of data processing of our own volition or if requested to do so by a data subject.
12. Other rights related to data processing
Data subjects have the right to request the deletion of data pertaining to them (“the right to be forgotten”).
Data subjects also have all the other rights provided for in the GDPR, such as the right to restrict the processing of their data in certain situations.
All requests must be submitted in writing.
The data controller may request the data subject to verify their identity.
The data controller must respond to the data subject within the time limit set in the EU’s GDPR (generally within a month).
